All Glory!!

God is good and He hears our and your prayers. We received notice less than 24 hours after I sent this blog link to you that we were LID!!! Our Log In Date is officially April 2nd. He is a Good Father and only He can write this story. Thank you so much for your prayers! So this last week our dossier has been in the next stage of process: translation from English to Mandarin. The next step is *In Review* and that seems to be where the dossiers ahead of us are getting bogged down. This is where officials comb through all our documents and make sure everything is in order. We have hope this week that we will move to 'In Review'.

Enough of dry paperwork process.  Not only were our prayers answered concerning LID, and this part simply blows my mind...even though we have been told that our daughter's orphanage no longer gives updates or photos, WE GOT PHOTOS AND A VIDEO!!! Only God. Only God!

These were taken less than 2 weeks ago!  Shi Qing is wearing the crown! The other little girl is my very good friend in the adoption world's daughter. They are 2 months ahead of us in the process, so they should be traveling in June.
The other little girl's mom sent all the fruit for the kids. The cake is hilarious. So cute.
I cannot stop staring at her face. Her chubby cheeks, the sparkle in her eye. In the video, which is this little scene with a loud Mandarin chorus of 'Happy Birthday' in the background, little Shi Qing at the end just looks at the camera with the tiniest little imp of a grin. It absolutely melts my heart! Oh the wait....so hard.

Thank you, thank you so much for all your comments and prayers. Isn't God just so good? Even the littlest details are attended to, we can see from these pictures that she looks healthy and has grown, and we can see other things that just ease our hearts in many ways, from what is her listed special needs, to the fact that she still has a sparkle in her eye, which is so so important. It is so hard and sad to look into the eyes of an orphan and see that the sparkle has gone out of them. Her little friend in this photo was also sent a blue dress from her mom, and her mom got those pictures of her wearing the dress. I tell you this because the size of the dress sent was a 5T, so we can estimate that Shi Qing is most likely a 4T, so that too is good news. I have been concerned that she would be a size 3T and be 7 years old. 4T is much more encouraging.

I've been so excited to share these new photos.

Prayer request: We would be so grateful for prayers that we move from *In Translation* to *In Review*. And I asked a for frivolous prayer last week for photos and video, and I ask again a 'frivolous' prayer for an update from our agency. It is long shot, what with her province no longer giving out updates/photos, but I love that our God is bigger than that grouchy rule!

  1. Shi Qing has no idea how lucky she is that such a loving family is planning her arrival and that so many are praying for her.
    Blessings
